Cinquefoil or Five Fingers Grass

Cinquefoil or Five Fingers grass is called this due to the branches resembling a hand.  The branches stand for Love, Money, Health, Power, and Wisdom.  This herb is used for divination, meditation, and prophetic dreams.  It is a great herb to use in money drawing spells.  It is said this herb can help hold on to a lover and help express eloquence in court. You will find this herb in our Money Ritual Jar as well as our Witching Hour Jar.  Medicinally, an infusion or strong tea made from its highly tannic leaves is used as an astringent, antiseptic, and tonic - as a mouthwash for thrush, to treat dysentery or diarrhea. A stronger decoction has been used to pour over infections and to soothe inflamed skin, including inflammation in the mouth.
