How to Prepare
Herbal Tea Preparation
1.Measure – Use 1-2 teaspoons of dried tea blend per 8 ounces (1 cup) of hot water. For fresh herbs, use 1-2 tablespoons.
2.Boil Water – Heat water to just before boiling (around 190-200°F) for delicate herbs or bring to a full boil for roots and tougher botanicals.
3.Steep –
•Leaves & Flowers: Cover and steep for 5-10 minutes for a lighter, aromatic tea.
•Roots & Barks: Simmer for 10-20 minutes (or steep longer) to extract deeper flavors and nutrients.
